Global Recycling Day is taking place on the 18th March.
To mark the occasion we are excited to relaunch the Remarkably x eBay RE/FASHION store. Team Remarkably have been through their wardrobes and listed items that will hopefully find a happy new owner!
All proceeds from sold items will go TRAID, a fashion charity that tackles the negative social and environmental impacts of producing, consuming and wasting clothes.
To put it into context, out of the 100 billion garments produced each year, 92 million tonnes end up in landfills. So we can play our part in keeping fashion out of landfill.

A little bit about Global Recycling Day.
Of the earth’s natural resources, we tend to think of six as the most important – water, air, oil, natural gas, coal and minerals.
These resources are finite and rapidly running out. Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever. We are carelessly using the earth’s natural resources without thinking about what will replace them, while billions of tons of waste pour into landfill sites every year.
One of the simple solutions to this is recycling – the ‘Seventh Resource’, which can be used again and again.
Recycling helps to combat climate change, boosts local employment around the world and helps conserve the earth’s six primary resources.
